Union Textiles Minister Dayanidhi Maran today today termed as "politically motivated'' CPI(M)'s charge that the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu was adopting double standards on cotton export policy. In a statement here, Maran said it was estimated that the domestic consumption of cotton would be to the tune of 270 lakh bales and production about 325 lakh bales this year.
